You might ask yourself what it’s like to be intelligent because you think you’re aren’t like the rest of the people that say they are smart. Thinking your not smart is called having a fixed mindset and thinking or knowing you are smart is called having a grown mindset. Some people have impacts on tests people put them up to or they can also have a parallel impact. Having a grown mindset makes you think challenges are better. They would make you think that challenges are better because your brain learns from it like how a Stanford graduate named Carol Dweck says, “ I gave 10 year olds some problems that were a little too difficult for them some of them reacted in a shockingly positive way” which means those people that reacted in the positive way where people with grown mindsets because they loved a challenge and tried to do it. These kids had an impact on getting difficult problems because of the positive way they reacted unlike the other kids had a negative reaction which kids with fixed mindsets are how they usually react. People or even kids with either fixed or grown mindsets have a parallel reaction to things. “ Some kids by failing a test they said that next time they would just cheat on a test next time “ ~ Carol Dweck. This is important of knowing what are fixed or grown mindsets because you’ll know that the people who need help the most with trying their best are the people with the fixed mindsets unlike the people with the grown mindsets always try their best and sometimes even harder.
